"We had a wonderful 4 night stay at the Ascott Gurney Penang. The hotel offers great amenities, the rooms are comfortable, and the overall atmosphere is very welcoming and relaxing. One of the highlights of our stay was the excellent buffet breakfast with a wide variety of delicious food choices each morning. We would especially like to recognize Sity and Jensen at the restaurant. They truly went the extra mile to make sure we were well taken care of. Their warm hospitality, attentiveness, and dedication to their work really stood out. You can clearly see the pride they take in providing excellent service, even while working very hard during the busy breakfast hours. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay such an enjoyable experience. We would gladly stay here again when visiting Penang."

"Had everything needed for a wonderful stay. The building is around 150 years old so don't expect modern amenities, but it has very good facilities nonetheless. Staff were friendly and very helpful, room extremely comfortable, good A/C, good pool and excellent breakfast range. The free tour was a great bonus. It's in easy walking distance of all the main sights in George Town and the area felt very safe. Worth staying at the Blue Mansion just to say that you have stayed there. The fact it is also a very decent hotel in addition to being a top tourist attraction is the icing on the cake"

"The staff are all very friendly and helpful. When we informed front desk staff about a faulty TV . To our surprise the maintenance staff was already at the room door waiting for us immediately. When the card could not work for the elevator, staff immediately rectify the issue. Especially Ady who is very helpful and provides information and clarifications to assist guests with a cheerful smile. Well done! Keep up the good work!"

"Rooms are a bit dated (compared to the pictures shown) but generally okay for a comfortable stay. Housekeeping is done everyday so you get fresh towels and sheets daily. Location-wise is central and convenient, and across from 1st Avenue Mall which is great if you need anything."
