Australia’s tallest observation tower offers incredible views over Sydney and beyond.

Sydney Tower is the tallest observation tower in the whole of Australia, rising more than 300 metres above the streets. Visitors have been flocking to the tower to take in the dramatic views it offers over the city and beyond, since it first opened in the 1980s.A lift whisks visitors up to the top to visit the observation decks and restaurants. Inside, the tower is split into four sections, with the main observation deck, the Sydney Tower Eye, located at the very top. Visitors will be treated to incredible 360-degree views across the city, through the floor-to-ceiling glass.If you venture right to the top of the Sydney Tower you’ll be able to see all the way to the Blue Mountain region inland, and far down the coastline. Visitors can use a variety of high-tech, interactive information to help them enjoy their experience, with touchscreens, high-powered binoculars and a 4-D cinema experience.The Sydney Tower also offers a once-in-a-lifetime dining experience, with its restaurants that will appeal to all age groups. One popular choice is the 360 Bar and Dining, which rotates slowly while you eat, providing panoramic views across Sydney. The Sydney Tower Buffet is a perfect choice for families. Last but not least, the Sky Venue offers exquisite cuisine and a range of exotic cocktails.If you’re feeling adventurous, you may want to embark on a Skywalk. You’ll be provided with a jumpsuit, attached to a safety harness and you’ll be free venture out onto the glass-floored viewing platforms that stand at more than double the height of the Sydney Harbour Bridge!Guides will be on hand to point out notable landmarks. Sydney Tower is open 364 days a year, being closed only on Christmas Day. Sydney Tower is centrally located and therefore is best accessed by public transport.

Pre-book your ticket a day beforehand or buy several passes to receive a discount. Also, if you want to see the night sky expect a long wait.
