"Loved that it is environmentally focused. Showers were great. Much better than they looked as I am not really a fan of showers over a bath. Restaurant was AMAZING! I would come here again regardless of whether I was staying or not. Wrong grind of coffee for the plunger, but that is really the only negative I can think of :)"

"Lovely clean room and bathroom, comfortable bed and pillows, wish we could have slept there again! We had dinner in the evening and shared the waffles in the morning, both meals excellent, nice beers on tap. Staff all lovely and very welcoming, friendly other patrons in the bar. "The hotel room also had a few shortcomings in terms of comfort and housekeeping standards. The room was not fully carpeted, and no slippers were provided, which made it uncomfortable during winter. In addition, during housekeeping, the bed was not properly tidied or made up, which did not meet the expected standard of room service for a hotel of this level. These details affected the overall comfort and impression of the stay."
