"The hotel was very comfortable and relaxing. We had a lovely big room with a gorgeous shower. But the stand out element was the food. The evening meal was stunning and delicious and the cooked breakfast was outstanding. An extra plus is that they serve up free canapés every afternoon. They were perfect and really gave us a taster of what the evening meal would be like. And all of the staff were very welcoming. Cannot recommend this place enough. Will definitely stay there again. "

"The building is old (!), so the rooms are high ceiling and large. The decoration is highly original and eclectic. Our room was ready on time and well appointed and clean and comfortable. We dined in on our first night. The meal wassail good and tasty, although there was a limited menu not he night.
