4/5 - Good
Nice town. Had a wander round. Was here on business so not really time to explore.

Amazing stay from pre-check-in to check out. Clean room with amenities. We took our dog and they provided a dog bed, towel, water bowl and treats. Perfect bolthole for a stay away. We sat and played games in the snug area of the bar with an open fire for the afternoon. There’s complimentary canapés ...

Room was good but suffered from road noise. Breakfast was excellent. Service was good but we were surprised to have to wait to check in whilst the person completed a conversation with a friend.

Nice town. Had a wander round. Was here on business so not really time to explore.
Quite tired. Mostly charity shops, estate agents and hairdressers. One charming little art gallery with a delightful owner who was very helpful. No pubs apart the The Bell which has gone from hotel to a pub with rooms! Very disappointing
Didn't visit Saxmundham
Not many places for dinner!
Whilst we didn't actually visit Saxmundham town, we did have a very pleasant look around Southwold and Aldeburgh as well as Snape Maltings. Very pleasant part of Suffolk
Only visited the town for the off-licence, sorry! Area around it is stunning--visited Leiston Abbey(not on list!!)
