"Didn't expect to get such a great night stay at a studio. It was very clean, very spacious and all things came in handy! Only setback was that breakfast was packed food and some of them were not really nice (presentation was nice though). I would like to suggest to change vendor for nasi lemak and doughnut. Even typical local packing but with good taste would be appreciated."

"This was my second time staying at this property within two weeks. I appreciate the friendliness and politeness of the staff and security.I was able to do laundry a few times which is included with the stay, and was a big help. "Location: A hotel i frequented every time i’m in KL. central, walking distance to KLCC & bukit bintang (pavi), bcs i personally dislike driving in KL. Check in: staffs 10/10. Love the welcome drinks, minibar & breakfast choices (if you pay for the room w these options). Amenities: Chill pool, but not kid friendly. Complete gym, if you need one. Never tried the bar. Parking is free (make sure to not tap your T&G, take their tickets instead). Room: The rooms are big, new furnitures....

A must staycation hotel choice!!!!

"Stayed in Room 2722 (Business Suite) on 21 June 2025 — extremely spacious, spotless, and impeccably maintained. A true 5-star experience. Check-in by Shermin was smooth and professional; she was warm, attentive, and made me feel genuinely welcomed. High tea was outstanding — far better than Hilton KL — with exceptional service from friendly, attentive staff. Huge compliments to Vicky, who once again went above and beyond. He remembered my pillow preferences and even sent four extra bottles of water without me requesting — an incredible touch showing true dedication to guest comfort. Special mention to Alice at Shang Palace — exceptional service without pushing upsells, attentive and knowledgeable, making the dining experience very enjoyable. Regret not having the bird’s nest available as it requires 24-hour advance booking. Check-out was fast and seamless. Breakfast was delicious, with a special mention for the sausages at Lemon Garden — presumably homemade — which, to date, I’ve only seen at Shangri-La. A rare standout in hotel dining! Swimming pool is small but clean and functional — ideal for a quick dip. Overall, this stay exceeded all expectations. From front office to housekeeping, every staff member delivered excellence. Special compliments to Sheila from the call center and Mia from reservations — both were extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and proactive. Highly commendable team. Shangri-La truly remains a benchmark for world-class hospitality. "

"Property start to rundown. Used living room restaurant for breakfast and high tea. It is not great, foods are not fresh, no service attitude. Table and placemat are not clean properly. Room phone are not working even after told the front desk, hence not able to order IRD. "

"Everything is good, just the lightnings in the bathroom are a bit too dark, the eperation of tv was clearly instructed, it cause a few calls and a visit by the mainrenance team, can be avoided by just a short instructions note the room. 8.5 out of 10!"

Unprofessional

"doesn't match the 5-star hotel status. Only 2 lines for check in, where 1 line is for priority members, and both lines wait for their turn for approximately 10-15mins each guests. I do not know why check in takes this long. When it is my turn, it is the same, where the staff just stares into the computer for 10 mins. Furthermore, any requests that were made before my arrival was not noted although the staff has remarked that she will put a note on my booking. None of the staff found any notes for my booking. Room is also dusty, and the toiletries tray is full of dust. I will not stay here again."
