"Our stay at the Palmerston was so much more than we expected...Best breakfast in the UK...the beautiful villlage was relaxing ...lots of shopping and sights to see all within walking distance to our B&B...overall 1 of the highlights of our vacation...would recommend this place to all"
"Clean room and lovely view, but wouldn’t call it a deluxe room.
Young lady who served us in the bar and restaurant made the visit more comfortable and friendly . "

"The room was nice if somewhat dark - dark wallpaper and dark furniture. The bathroom had a big shower but signs of mould in places. Sadly the shower didn’t work brilliantly, changing pressure and temperature. The spa was great had a fabulous massage. "
"Stunning manor house which houses dining rooms & bars as well as function rooms, beautiful terrace overlooking grounds & parkland, Amazing food & friendly staff. accommodation is in purpose built motel style blocks, OK for a short stay "
"Breakfast is excellent. Room is very spacious and the terrace is a plus plus. Bathroom very clean but one of the toilet tissue holder is broken. Staff are very courteous and helpful. Overall, love the ambience and i recommend this hotel. "
"We stayed here the night before leaving on a cruise. Everything about this hotel (location, food, room, area, staff) was great with one glaring exception (which we reported). The hostess in the 6th floor restaurant was rude on multiple occasions. She did not fit in with the rest of the lovely staff. We reported this (several people in our party noticed her attitude on multiple occasions)
This aside, our stay was lovely and we recommend"
"Super friendly on check in and it was just no bother thereafter. Nothing bad to say. Pleasant hotel - looks like a prison from the outside but they have done absolute wonders with the inside. Lifts were glitchy while we were there which was annoying but I’m sure that’s a temporary thing. Amazing position for the Boat Show and shopping. "
