"Loved the property, we stayed in the chalet. Facilities are excellent & the buffet breakfast provided was more than ample. Located in a quiet area but very convenient for town centre, a nice walk along the canal takes you into town.
Had a very friendly welcome from James who explained how everything worked.
Definitely stay again if we need accommodation in Romsey."

"Very fancy, beautifully decorated, and unique hotel. Excellent service, and staff were very accommodating and friendly. A great place to stay for post or pre cruise as location is near the harbour.
Due to allergies or lung conditions, I would suggest thé elimination of scented diffusers as they were quite overwhelming."

"Well located at the beginning of that part of Oxford St. which is closed to vehicles and the location of a number of restaurants and pubs, most of which have both indoor and outdoor seating, including the White Star Tavern. Vehicle access is available right to side of the hotel. We arrived the afternoon of Halloween and all the staff were dressed in costume, which my wife and I thought was a nice touch. Our room was located two above the first floor, and the check-in person helped us with our...

"Some good, some bad...
We arrived late in the evening and had a nice welcome. There were some petit fours in our room and it looked very attractive, if very cold. The bed and bed linen was good and the (small) bathroom attractively fitted out.
But beneath the surface there are obvious problems. The foyer had a bad damp smell. The heating consists of an air conditioning unit in each room, which was noisy and not particularly effective. The electric towel rail did not heat up. The coldness...

"Good stay, room was nice and the sea view was lovely at sunset. £20 to park for one night and £5 room service delivery charge was a shame. Unsure where it was coming from (sounded nearby) but from 4:30pm - 2:30am there was thumping music. Staff were lovely, bar area is nicely done."

"More remote than I realised but wonderful room, very comfortable and a lovely Continental Breakfast. Double glazing was very effective and necessary as with the window open (which I prefer) the road noise was quite something due to an adjacent motorway! I would however definitely return!"
