"Lovely hotel! The staff was wonderful! Also, the bar and restaurant were nice. Try to get a room on the back of the hotel if you are on a low floor. It's noisy! That's the price for being so incredibly close to all the transportation options! It made visiting London sites a breeze. Very walkable and literally you are across the street from the tube and bus depo for both public and tour buses."

"Stayed 2 nights in the Wizards Chamber with my family of 5, the beds were so comfortable and no noise at night, it felt like the room was sound proof (it really helped us with our jet lag from CA), breakfast was great, staff was so so nice The only thing I could say negative is that the room for my family of 5 was a bit small but nothing that we couldn't manage, and that doesn’t change the fact that we would defiantly stay here again. (Again this is for the Wizards Chamber room)"

"I booked one night at the Golden Star. I already knew Victoria was a great area, and since I was on a budget, their price—cheaper than anywhere else—was a big factor. "This hotel was a breath of fresh air and just what we needed on day 9 of our European trip. We had already stayed at 2 boutique hotels on this trip - one in another part of London and another in Paris. They had their charm and positives for what they were.
