Dirty! check in was a hassle.

"The property was very dirty. There was used soap left by maybe the previous customer. Furniture was very old, dusty. overall apartment was very dirty. i doubt they clean the bedsheet. the bed in master bedroom is an old bed, already broken, but there is a piece of wood placed under the mattress to ..."

"Without doubt this is a beautiful iconic hotel and we came back for a second time as stayed here in 2019 and enjoyed it so much. It’s still great but looking a bit tired in places but overall still great. We loved the pool and location of the hotel and the amazing views. Also a shame to see so much single use plastic here! (small toiletries) and water bottles- most hotels we have stayed in in Malaysia have water machines to minimise waste and refillable toiletries. "

"Everything about this hotel was superb. The staff, particularly Denis were amazing, nothing was too much trouble. The decor and ambiance is so relaxing. The complimentary afternoon tea was a lovely touch.The location was great for access to restaurants, bars, shopping, public transport and banks.
