"When we checked in we do not check on the access card because we expected it to work. But we went out and came back at 12:30am and we cannot enter. We called the front desk and no answer. We knocked on the door, hopefully someone could hear us but no one came down to open the door for us. We waited for about 30- 40 mins. Then, what can we do? We saw the gap between the door and the button is just located at the side the door. My boyfriend forced the door to open and I have to use a pen to press...

"Good hotel and nice location. The room is big and I like the free breakfast too. Within walking distance to many eatery and it’s in the UNESCO area so nice to walk around
The room comes with a big king size bed,chairs, table, wardrobe and coffee tea making facility. Downside is not many channels to choose from, the bed is a little hard and room is very dusty. When I go into my bed, I can see lots of dust flying around.
Bathroom and amenities are good. AC is good and cold. Overall a good hotel...

"This beautiful colonial hotel is within walking distance to all turist sites in Georgetown.

"Great location - walkable to Nasi Minang near Caltex, nasi kandar line clear and many others. Brand new hotel so everything is nice and clean. Room was not too big but enough for 2. Parking is onsite. Plenty of plug points in the room to charge devices. Comfortable bed. The minimalist Scandinavian interior decor is very pleasing. Coway water machine is available near the lift (no bottled water in room).
The negatives are - kettle, cups and spoons are provided but not coffee. So bring your own....

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The Granite is in a great lication, short walking distance to KOMTAR, Prangin Malls, 1st Avenue mall and GAMA. It is also within easy walking distance of Chowrasta market, the old town, the piers and street art.
Our room was actually a one bedroom apartment in the former Summit M suites, the Serene Suite. It was quiet, clean and very comfortable with a KS bed and a pillow menu too. The pool is lovely and the views, drink and food at the roof top bar are excellent.
We've loved our stay and we'd come back."
