"Room, common areas, and amenities were clean and functional. Breakfast buffet was good quality. However, the shuttle did not go to Zephyr Cove despite the website saying it did. Also, there was no option to connect to streaming services on the TV. Finally, at Landshark Grill the service was quite slow, didn’t get assistance for 10 minutes after sitting down, in fact the manager had to be the one to ask us if we’d been helped yet, and he flagged the hostess to help us. "The room was clean enough, I guess. I was given a room on the 3rd floor that did have a lake view. That was nice. The washed towels still had stains on them. Btw, this may have been a temporary problem, but the water from the faucet and shower was brown at the beginning. I went to the front desk and they charged me $2.00 per bottle of water. Even though I paid for 2 nights, I left after the first night itself. For $350 per night including taxes, I expected a lot more from this place. I was...

"I would stay here again. It’s close enough to everything. I really liked how the building to get to your rooms was locked and you needed your room key to get in. They do have someone in the office 24/7 if needed. Even though this is on the main road, you do not hear the traffic at all."

"We had a fantastic stay at Black Bear Lodge. The lodge is absolutely beautiful, with a stunning wooden interior that gives it a real mountain lodge feel. It was incredibly peaceful and the perfect place to relax and unwind. The location was ideal too, tucked away in a quiet setting but only a short drive from local shops, restaurants and other amenities. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area."
