The initial young man who checked me in was terrific. He offered an upgraded room, for a fee, and we enjoyed it. A young lady whom I spoke at the front desk about getting housekeeping scheduled after the first two days was a bit condescending and not customer oriented as she was reluctant to make sure I was taken care of on this issue. The room was terrific, clean, and spacious with a great view on the 18th floor. I was shocked at the prices in the Ramsey restaurant and the dining room on the top floor. We went out to the local establishments instead. Way overpriced. Cocktails were upwards of $27 a piece. Just a silly waste of money.
Daily parking of self parking of $20 on top of the daily resort fee of $27 made the good room deal not so good. It was a nice experience, even while under construction, due to the lake view from the 18th floor. But the extra added costs seemed too much.
