I hadn't stayed at a Holiday Inn Express in many years, because their quality had declined considerably. We were pleasantly surprised at how clean and well maintained this property was. The staff was also exceptional.

The staff was really helpful and answered all of my questions. Checking in was really easy and the room was very spacious and clean. I love that they had easy access to utensils, plates, and water. It made it easy for me to eat my leftovers from dinner. I would definitely stay here again.

Loved this hotel, Ashley at the front desk was amazing and the breakfast attendant was super sweet! The room was spacious, beds were comfortable, and the amenities were great. I gave 4 stars for cleanliness because there was a stain in the carpet by the desk and spider web above the hanging lamp in the corner. Also the housekeeper didn’t make our beds only took the trash and replaced the towels. Great location for our visit to Lake Tahoe!

The reception was very helpful but I reserved 2 rooms one with 2 beds and I was given 2 rooms with 1 bed each. 1 room smelled dirty the whole stay I was there. The other room seemed fine the whole time. This was my third time staying here but my first time having issues. My hand soap in the bathroom was shampoo.

Cons: The room was cleaned when I arrived. BUT, in the morning I put the do not disturb sign on the door while I showered. A note was left saying if the room wasn't available by 1:00 housekeeping would not service it. So, I removed the sign about 7:30 a.m. and returned the card the front desk as instructed, told them the room was available for housekeeping. The room was never cleaned while I was there for 2 nights. Had to request clean towels, which were delivered. Perhaps communication between departments could be improved. There was no coffee maker in the room, but one was promptly delivered on request. BUT, I could not get it to brew the coffee. Pros: Breakfast was very good. Staff was courteous. There was ample parking.

The room was clean and the beds were nice but the bathroom vent made loud banging noises so I had to keep the bathroom door closed when the person upstairs took a shower. It woke me up because the water sounds like it’s coming into your bedroom because the pipes are in the wall next to the bed. The air conditioner was very loud. But again the beds were nice.
