The room was clean and reasonably appointed, though somewhat dated. We enjoyed the proximity to downtown Gardnerville, and the presence of a pair of L2 chargers on the fairly quiet street next to the hotel.

Comfortable and central Gardnerville

Location was central for Gardnerville, park close by to go for a walk, lobby had lots of comfortable chairs to enjoy morning donut and drink and great place to read

Little Costly last minute because I was screwed out of a room at the other end of town but this place is definitely the way to go. Food in all directions. Rooms are comfy and are a good place to digest JTs food from across the street.

I highly recommend the Historian Inn. My room was very clean and comfortable and had a somewhat quaint feel, which was carried over from the warm, charming lobby. The staff was very nice and capable. About that clean room, I note that even though I didn't have a pet, I was given a pet friendly room, since all the no pet rooms were taken. And the room I got was still perfectly clean.

Nice Place To Stay

Very quaint, clean and comfortable place to stay. I particularly liked the lobby area. It had a warm, friendly feel to it due to it's rustic decor and the seats/couches were quite comfortable. Highly recommend this motel.
