"The hotel is simple but decent, located pretty close to waterfront and most places of interest are in walkable range from here. You can find bars, restaurants (the is a good breakfast restaurant right behind and the famous Ceylonese Restaurant next to it), 7-eleven. The was a slight funky smell in the shower and this could be improved. They also let us check in early which was nice bonus for us. "

"The hotel albeit not new is generally very comfortable and the rooms are good size and all the amenities are functioning - only complain is the air con which is noisy and not very efficient. The decor is a bit date and I understand the east wing has already been refurbished so hopefully the west wing where we stayed will be done up soon. Staff is very friendly and have worked there for a long time. And the small pearl is the rooftop bar at the 17 floor which have a tremendous view of the whole...
