"Recently, my husband & I stayed at a condo name Casa De Emdeko in Kona, Big Hawaii Island for 18 days. It was a clean and beautiful place where we were able to relax, unwind and rejuvenate while exploring the island. We loved the view from the lanai, cool air from the air conditioner, and the beach chairs & the cooler, for a beach picnic, that were available in the condo. "The room was the most poorly equipped condo we have ever stayed in. Very few kitchen utensils, tiny skillets, tiny coffee pot. No food storage bags or covered containers. Rusty freezer. The outside facilities were nice, clean pool and hot tub, nice gas grills. Not enough umbrellas for shade. Stayed in E3, below street level. Would not recommend."

"The condo was dated. 2” Ceramic tile counters kitchen and bath. Wall to wall carpet dirty. Old kitchen appliances. Limited kitchen ware. Expect to bring everything, salt, plastic wrap, supplies. No beach chairs. Patios outside were nice; views from all windows were exceptional. Pool was comfortable with lots of loungers, umbrellas, tables and chairs. We had no contact with any staff, except friendly gardeners. "

"The condos are in need of a renovation for sure. Each one is decorated differently the room we were given had mold in the bathrooms and lots of termite issues. On the up side the cleaning staff took care of all of it. The front desk was amazing and very helpful. It was definitely nice to have a kitchen when you travel with children. I think we might try another part of the island next time but all in all it’s not a bad deal for your money. "

"From the moment we arrived, we knew this was the perfect house for us. The lush surroundings were exactly what we love, and the view from inside was absolutely stunning. It was peaceful and quiet we especially enjoyed waking up to the sound of birds in the morning. The house was very comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen and great air conditioning. The location was perfect close to the beach, shops, grocery stores, and the farmers market. We’ll definitely be back!"

"The location is great. Yes, it can be a little loud sometimes but that happens when you're in a good and lively spot. I was skeptical to stay someplace without AC but the fans and screen door really cooled things down. They have coolers for beach picnics, beach towels and everything else you need. Some things could use an update (bathroom rugs) but overall we were super happy and comfortable in this condo. We will absolutely try to stay here again!"

"My parents and I stayed in room 309 for 3 nights. Overall, we have a great vacation time here. Good: 1) Great location, walking distance to the restaurants and grocery stores. 2) Extraordinary views from the lanai, even better than expected. Although we live in the north-facing room, the side view of the ocean is also great, and the lagoon and mountain give more diversity. 3) Provide everything we need, from a fully equipped kitchen to all of the beach supplies. Great for a family...

"I liked the property, the management and the condo. The only problem was the management company we got in late and were confused about signing agreements at 11:00 at night. (2:00 for us)"

"The view was beautiful and the amenities were wonderful. We appreciated the coolers and used the pickleball court daily! The condo itself was a bit dated and we had issues with one of the showers that resolved itself fortunately. Otherwise we loved the property and the location, quieter but near a small beach."
