I’m soooo glad we stayed at the Ocean Towers in Waikoloa! Some reviews made me nervous but I’m glad I ignored them. We had a one bedroom plus, so we had a full kitchen. It was almost half the cost of the two other Hilton hotels of the resort and we had twice the space. Our room was completely remodeled, the hotel looks like it was all new. Absolutely beautiful and well thought out. Staff were always kind and helpful. We were right by a nice pool and a quick walk to the lagoon. The larger pool was about a ten minute walk (through beautiful grounds) or an easy tram or boat ride. So convenient! I only wish the restaurants stayed open later, but other than that it was perfect! We will go again!

The hotel room was just alright, however the property grounds and amenities were awesome! When booking the Expedia ad said new construction but the room was outdated and old. The bed was as hard as a rock! Sincerely one of the worst bed I’ve slept in. However, the property grounds and amenities were great for the kids and family.

Pros: We loved our stay here. It is very kid friendly and They have a lot of activities. The snorkeling in the lagoon is top notch. We saw so many turtles, fish, sting rays, and even a seal. Negatives: It is a very big resort so it’s a lot of walking but they offer a tram that is super slow or a boat. The food options are very limited. The restaurants are great, just pricey. The breakfast buffet is a 0/5. It is $55 a person and it’s just gross hotel breakfast food. If you go Thursday morning at 8, you might be able to see the dolphin show while eating tho. They also need more convient stores like an ABC store with abc store pricing. Lastly our hotel room was not yet renovated in the ocean tower but we had a good location and view of pool and partial ocean.
