"After coming here from Hilton GV, I finally felt welcomed (6 days after my arrival). The staff are professional yet sunny. They are also helpful. The hotel has some free activities (I'm going to learn hula dancing!). There are also plenty of paid activities that originate at this hotel. (I was aboard the Atlantis for the undersea adventure). The hotel has one of the best locations on Hawai'i's west coast. There are plenty of shops & restaurants within walking distance. "

"If you are on the fence about this hotel…..do it!! Staff is extremely kind and helpful. You can lay on the bed and watch the surfers riding the waves and watch so many crabs just hanging out. The sunsets are breathtaking from the pool. Open up the windows and listen to the waves all night long. Just wow!! Yes, there is no tv or ac…..but who cares when you can feel the ocean breeze all night long. Definitely recommend having a smaller vehicle as the parking lot is small but it is FREE."

"I was in Kona on a work trip. The hotels in area were way over the U.S. government’s lodging per diem rate. Kona Bali Kai was a very great and affordable option for me. I will definitely be staying there in the future for work again and for vacation in the future as well."

"This is the nicest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Understated and tasteful elegance. Fantastic rooms with amazing balconies, world class beach, impeccable service, excellent grounds, fine dining at Manta, but also a beachfront casual bar/restaurant, and Copper Bar in between and our favorite. They have an Asian Art Collection worthy of a museum. This was out of our usual price range, a big splurge, and worth every penny. We are already trying to figure out how to swing it to go back next winter. "

"Our refrigerator was not working upon arrival. A call to the front desk immediately produced maintenance who unfortunately was unable to correct. He quickly went to front desk who gave us another room,better than the first,with everything functioning as it should. That’s great service!"
