"They went out of their way to accommodate our special occasion requests. They treated us like royalty! The afternoon tea in the lobby was super -- both the Western and the "nyonya" local delicacies set. The staffers were all welcoming, polite and helpful. We'll surely return whenever we have visitors or need a "staycation" at a beautiful site. It's our favorite hotel on Penang Island!"

"Our arrival was good given top floor level 8 so fair to good views of the sea ( paid for extra when booking the ticket price) The hotel is ‘mature’ lets say. Seasoned not old.. it requires some updating but not to lose its heritage feel. Rooms smaller than expected but has most modern features you need. Perhaps a duplicate of usb or c-2-c ports beside both sides of the bed would be useful for couples having similar technology that requires charging! Food was good - we chose b&b as local food is...

"Friendly and helpful staff. Clean, comfortable room. There are lots of restaurants just steps outside of this hotel including half block of food stalls on street at night. This hotel also offers free shuttle to few local attractions from Friday to Sunday (need to book in advance). I will definitely stay here again."
