"Had really high hopes for this property as the Crowne was right around the corner but I wanted something locally owned and with more character. Everything was just as I imagined except for the staff. We asked for some printing to be done and granted it was quite more than they are probably used to, but it was done without first informing us of the price and then all of a sudden we were slapped with a bill for 35pounds! Again, wouldn't have minded IF they had asked us first but they didn't...

"This is a fabulous hotel, in a great location, the rooms are clean and tidy, underground car park on site, think it's £12, per day but you can come and go as you please, the staff are both friendly and helpful, excellent breakfast included."

"This is the second time staying at the Camberley, last time 13 months ago. Nothing to complain about only a few little things if i was being picky. Its great to see that the rooms have been updated stayed in room 2 this time which was really nicely decorated, bright and modern, lovely comfy bed and pillows, comfortably heated not drab as room 10 was 13 months ago! Tea and coffee in room but no little biscuit this time and no artificial sweeteners either in the room or downstairs where the spares...

"Just had a great one night stay at the Belmont. The room was very clean and comfortable, as was the whole building. The kitchenette had everthing we needed and everything was in excellent condition. The pre-arrival information was comprehensive and was provided in a very friendly and welcoming way. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the place, or to book again ourselves. Definitely worth 5 stars"

"A good stay as always, some areas where very hot as heating was on but we were able to switch this off in our room. We had a fire alarm go off on Friday evening but staff were prompt to evacuate and well organized. "

"Comfortable, large room. Plenty of parking in the large gardens. Excellent buffet breakfast in the magnificent dining room. Central Harrogate, Valley Gardens all within 5 minutes walk from hotel. Courteous staff. "
