"Modern, fresh, well maintained hotel. Clean, quiet, spacious rooms with plenty of charging stations and outlets. Super nice bath with massive soaking tub. Excellent on-site restaurant. What is most noteworthy is the very professional, well trained and delightful staff in both the hotel and the restaurant! Would stay at Sandburn Hall again and would recommend it to a friend. "

"We were put in an accessible room which had limited counter space and the shower area (with no tub of course) spilled water into the rest of the washroom. "I had attended a friends wedding on the 4th of July & from checking in to the wedding the hotel did an amazing job & all the staff were just amazing & they went above & beyond to make sure we had a great time. & I certainly did. I had a wonderful day/ night at the hotel de vin and I would absolutely recommend this hotel not just for staying but having a function at. Food & breakfast was delicious. "

"What a lovely little guest house within walking distance to York city centre. Danielle was a lovely host who made sure everything was in order for us. The room was comfortable, the breakfast was delicious and the fact that parking is included makes this place good value for money. The only thing worth noting is that the loft room is up 3 sets of stairs (the last one being a little steep) so bear that in mind if you have luggage or if you plan on doing the climb up the York Cathedral Tower tour...
