Spent about 20 mins faffing about with QR code before eventually getting sorted. Room was tiny and overlooked courtyard bar. The noise was still going well after 2am. Room was also very warm but we couldnt open window due to noise from bar. Considering what we paid I would not stay here again"

"The location is excellently situated in old town and it is within walking distance to Stirling Castle. As a Hostel, it has exceeded our expectations with its spacious public lounges and kitchen. The facilities were well maintained and staff were friendly. The only complaint we have is that the room we stayed in was lack of air circulation. "Usual YHA setup but in interesting and peaceful location on a private courtyard, nice and quiet even in the heart of Berwick. Breakfast made to order and very good, includes coffee or you can have one made on an espresso machine for an up charge. Private rooms available with en-suite was a good balance of value for money and privacy"

"Great location, but I should have read the fine print! We booked a private room but it came with sharing a shower and WC facilities with other guests rooms. Our room was spatious and clean but the shared accomodations need more maintenance and cleaning. It was OK but not great."
