"The premier suite was spacious, one of the larger rooms we’ve stayed at in over 35 years of staying at NYC hotels. There was a very comfortable and soft king bed in the bedroom, with a full clean bath attached, and a separate sitting area living space complete with sofa bed which was ok. The kitchenette was clean and sizable, complete with mini fridge and microwave, and small dining table, perfect for sitting to eat leftovers or a takeout from one of the many nearby restaurants. Room overall was clean and well-kept. Also nice was the half bath in the living space. We would definitely consider the San Carlos for future trips, it’s the perfect size for families of up to 4. Parking at the icon garage around the block was secure (across from a police station!) At $85/night. I would highly recommend this hotel, staff is very friendly and helpful."
