"This room was exactly as advertised! For hotels in New York, we were pleased with our stay and the value. The only downsides are that it was difficult to get the key/lock to work, it took a long time to get hot water, and the outlets were old, so it was difficult to keep something plugged in. Overall, however, the check in process was easy. The room felt clean, and it had a great window AC unit! Such a great location as well."

"I’ve never left a negative review in my life but have to do so over this property. While communication from the hotel was good, upon arrival, it was not intuitive on how to get access to the room. I took lots of photos - broken appliances/lighting, debris on the floor, stains on the carpet, open doors in the hallway to utility closets with overflowing dirty laundry. The biggest issue though was security. I entered the hotel late in the evening after dinner and the front door was open with no one...

"The Beekman was very convenient for our week of stay in NYC. The amenities were perfect for working remotely. The kitchen was just right. The laundry was a pleasant surprise."

"Overall, I would def. stay here again. The listing pictures were just what we got. We traveled to NYC as a family of 5, 2 kids 1 toddler and the beds in our room were a lifesaver, plenty of room. We had a nice view and it was located in a great area! Everything was just blocks away. (it is NY, so you are walking 90%of the time anyway) Time square was about 10 blocks but so much to see in between it did not feel far. The parking situation was a little stressful since there is no onsite parking....

"The central location was very convenient and made it easy to get around. However, the soundproofing was poor, and it was quite noisy late at night and into the early morning, sometimes as late as 2 am. Light sleepers may want to keep this in mind. The room was clean and had everything we needed, but the facilities felt a bit old, and there were some stains on the carpet and bedding. Also, we were required to pay a cleaning fee at check-in and could not check in without paying it."

"The Door app was ok once I downloaded but they told me it was called Latch. Finally they provided codes. Should not have to work to open a door. WiFi went out. Coffee maker did not work. Rooms on street side are noisy. Value was not anywhere near the cost. No parking available. Park on the street was what I was told. Would never recommend. There is no staff on site."
