"A charming and peaceful seaside hotel. We liked it a lot. I could suggest a rail to assist getting in and out of the pool, softer pillows. The room and pool area were kept very clean. The beach area is small but adequate. I do suggest replacing beach umbrellas and beach chair cushions very soon. Carlos and all the staff were friendly and helpful. We would stay here again."

"Aangenaam hotel op een toplocatie, met zeer behulpzaam en vriendelijk personeel. Ze deden alles om ons te helpen. Minder aangenaam was dat er elke avond feesten en/of evenementen plaatsvonden, wat de slaapkwaliteit beïnvloedde. Ik kreeg oordopjes en een andere kamer aangeboden; dit hebben ze heel goed opgelost. Wees je er wel van bewust dat dit niet de ideale plek is als je vooral voor rust komt. Als je wilt feesten, is dit daarentegen wel de ideale plek."

"Where to begin! Beautiful, relaxing experience. Claudia & Juan were so welcoming, helpful, and kind. Assisted with great humour and spirit for everything I needed. I already miss Chef Miguel's breakfasts. Such a wonderful way to start each day; especially when it can be hard to eat later in the day, when it's hot. The room was lovely. My only complaint is outside the hotel's control- nearby business has very loud music and thumping bass until late. The ambience is worth a bit of missed sleep...

"We had a wonderful short stay at the Belmond Maroma to celebrate our engagement. The staff and their service were top notch. In particular, Emanuel took great care of us.
