This is a small well run beach hotel - we stayed in a bungalow right on the beach it was cosy clean and generally fab. Half board - the food was very good like being in a restaurant with no corners cut. The staff were always cheerful abd helpfull We would happily stay here again and recommend it

Beautiful property, truly unique. We loved the beach bungalows, hammocks, and yoga, and overall, we enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was perfect. The dinners were uneven mostly due to the preparation of the main course (oversalted and undercooked) and the serversā€™ limited hospitality. The fresh salad bar and good soup sustained us. The food at the beach bar was good, but the service was hit or miss with high prices.

Rooms were clean and all amenities in working order, we were in the hotel area. We had breakfast included in our stay and the food was very good. The prices for lunch or dinner are very high if you are wanting to stay at the hotel.I would pay half the price they ask for the same meal in Canada. We did not find any public restaurants within walking distance on the beach, so no other options for meals. Your only option is to eat at the hotel restaurant or go into playa del carmen by taxi.

I come here for long solo vacation weekends. Great property. Amazing staff and the food is perfect. If you like to swim the water in front of the property is very rocky and not suitable for swimming but you can walk the shore and find better areas. I just need the occasional foot dip and for it to be pretty to look at, so perfect for me.

Very nice hotel. Not cheap but that helps keep a good crowd. No visitors were rude or hollering, unlike other AI resorts. Beach was nice. Easy to find sunbathing chairs. Beachfront restaurant was fantastic. Food was great. Access to the hotel from the road is not great - road is bumpy and through a back alley. Staff was great. Polite, personable, friendly. Taco night and barbecue nights were fantastic. Need more dinner nights on the beach patio!!!
