"What we like: close to the airport; staff were very friendly and helpful, not necessarily waiting for tips; the breakfast buffet is sufficient, with good choices and daily variations. What we don't like: bathrooms seem dated and could use upgrades. Very meager toilet paper provided (only one!), so we had to constantly ask for more —it's the cheap kind that doesn't hold up well. Also, dining in the restaurant outside of breakfast was rather disappointing; they often were 'out' of the dishes...

"I stayed in the executive suite for two nights upon arrival to Manila and two nights prior to leaving Manila. The hotel was very clean, staff was very helpful and the morning buffet was exceptional. The staff at the pool bar were very polite and the pool is very clean as is the gym equipment. We’ll stay here again if needed."

"Hotel 101 Pasay was crowded when I check in. Have security check before driver turning into lobby for safety check. Bell boy was very friendly and quick in response, and offered to help deliver my luggage to the room even though it is just a small cabin baggage and there’s still many guest around. "The Peninsula Manila is a true five star hotel. Lovely hotel with an amazing lobby, but it is the staff that make it a truly pleasurable experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our week long stay and if back in Manila we would not hesitate to stay here again."
