"We were completely shocked at the state of the room. We requested the best they had, yet there were dead bugs on the sheets, a blood stain on the bed! And toothbrush residue splattered all over the bathroom mirror. We took pictures and I let the staff (a woman who remained on her phone during the entire conversation) know. I showed her the issues and she simply nodded and nothing else. We quickly left and ran next door to the Rusa hotel and stayed there. I don't understand how Expedia partnered...

"Conrad Bali is a beautiful resort with amazing staff who go out of their way to look after their guests. My room was luxurious and beautifully appointed with special touches like pillow scent (guest selects) added to pillows every day. During my stay I had dinner in Suku and Eight Degrees South. The quality of the food was excellent with good choice and reasonably priced compared to Ireland rates. The staff in both restaurants are wonderful - so friendly and attentive.
