The property is near Coco Bongo, many restaurants and places to shop for just about anything you need.
The check-in process was quick and easy. I arrived in the late evening, so that could be the reason. I can't speak for any other times during the daytime hours. My room was perfect, a nice ocean view room 109. The beds were not comfortable. I slept on pillows, they were softer than the mattress. The TV would not connect, maintenance came right away that evening but he could not figure it out.
The next day, a different maintenance guy came and fixed it, but it was not consistent. I didn't watch TV but would like to have it on for the sound and to learn some additional Spanish words. Not a big deal, but just know it could be a small issue.
The hot water was not working, and he fixed it while he was in the room. The restaurant food was okay. I didnt each much there but what I had it was just okay.
The pools are beautiful, the drinks are good a nice variety of top-shelf liquor of my liking. The staff was nice, they spoke good English, and very professional and helpful.
Overall, it's a decent hotel, but they were doing construction during business hours. It's not a 5-star place, but budget-friendly and has easy access to many things that Cancun has to offer.
