This Resort appeared to be everything we had expected… close proximity to the airport, beautifully well maintained grounds easy access to the beach (although the sourgasam was prevalent, but maintained throughout the day) a beautiful view from our spacious Jr Suite Oceanfront on the Adults Only side.
The food was fresh and well prepared… the huge problem was the resort had not given us warning during our booking that a group of nearly 2,000 members who rented a whole section of the resort, and cut off five restaurants that were advertised as available to us during our stay.
We were given two restaurants, a buffet, and outdoor food events.
It was a repetitive menu of the main area, from being Italian night, Steakhouse, and a Brazilian night.
There is a side building with two options on specific nights that are Asian, or Mexican, the food was good, but the same options on the day of those nights, and long waits.
Had we been told we would have definitely booked our ten day stay either before or after that event as we were limited to certain areas/restaurants that is normally offered.
The staff were over worked, and overwhelmed, which caused a lot of confusion, and little communication. Not the staff’s fault.
We would suggest not booking days before, and after Palm Sunday for the next few years as this group has a 10 year contract, and it sadly affected many people’s stay, it wasn’t the end of the world, but unfortunate for many.
