Wilde Cambridge City Centre

Wilde Cambridge City Centre

10/10 Excellent
"We really enjoyed our stay at the Wilde Cambridge. Large, comfortable, clean room on the quiet side of the hotel (#302). The small, ensuite kitchen is a great option if you get tired of restaurant meals. Thereโ€™s also a small, well equipped gym, and laundry facilities available. The staff was professional and courteous. The hotel is in a great central location, tucked away in a quiet corner a few blocks away from all of the hustle and bustle. The Wilde also has an excellent public space, and outdoor terrace to enjoy a drink and some snacks. Thereโ€™s a bus stop right outside the front door if you prefer public transit over ride sharing. Thereโ€™s a quaint pub/restaurant called the Maypole around the corner that has an extensive selection of local and international beer. The Wilde is great value for the money and a nice alternative to an Airbnb."

"The hotel is in the centre of the city and a few minutes walk from the Cambridge Colleges and activities such as punting on the cam. The rooms were fairly basic and lacked a fridge or mini-bar. Ice dispensers in the hallways though. Good quality shower gel, shampoo, body lotion and conditioner in the bathroom. We were on the 4th (top) floor and so shower pressure wasnโ€™t the best. There was effective air conditioning in the room during a heatwave. The breakfast buffet was excellent quality with a great range of foods available and great value. We chose the hotel because they allowed our dog to stay with us. We would stay there again."

"Fantastic hotel- central location on the river can. We stayed in a river view double room with balcony- very clean and classically decorated. The staff were amazing. Supplied a bathrobe so I could go for a swim and use the jacuzzi and steam room. The food and service are some of the best weโ€™ve had in a hotel, from the breakfast- set in the quaint Garden House restaurant, to the afternoon tea- all were a very high standard. This hotel has so much to offer you can easily spend a lot of time here. Would definitely return."

"Great, clean modern hotel with good amenities. Well located in quiet retail area with Cambridge 20 mins away in car, or Park and Ride 10 mins away. Friendly, helpful staff. Everything you need for a comfortable short stay including buffet breakfast, hot or cold. Only negative was the hot breakfast quality not too good (eggs, and hash browns) but enough other items were more than enough for a decent breakfast.
