"Excellent location for visiting IWM Duxford and only 10 minutes on the train to Cambridge. Janet and Simon couldn't have been more welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble and the breakfasts were really good with options for all tastes. Would stay again without hesitation."

"Helpful staff upon arrival and the room was as expected and very clean however the space in the corner could have been occupied by a chair or couch for additional seating otherwise it had what was required of a room in a hotel. We thought the drinks bar in the dining room was rather expensive though & also an extra charge for parking put 30 pounds on the bill for 3 nights. All in all a good stay."

"The lock on our assigned room malfunctioned so we were moved to an adjacent room. That room was adequate, though the bathroom was very small and thus awkward to use. Standard pub fare was provided for lunch and dinner - nothing to get excited about. Breakfast, however, was excellent and served in a room functioning as a coffee shop for nearby railway customers (their coffee is good). "Not great for the money, spend another 20 quid and get a better room somewhere else. 1 towel No shampoo or soap and no heat as it was shut off. Breakfast was a few biscuits, a wrapped croissant and a couple of boxes of cereal, meh at best. "

"I arrived and someone was already in my room, after them being told their room wasn't ready and being put into ours. We were then told that we could go into another room and the room had not even been cleaned. The window also didn’t shut and the door handle had fallen off the window so was very cold thought the night. Will not be returning "

"This is the budget end of the Holiday Inn chain but it doesn't feel too budget. The check in was stand out in terms of friendliness and efficiency and there was a good choice for breakfast with plenty of food available. It was very busy on the Sunday morning but the team kept on top of it, turning tables around and keeping food stocked. "The reception staff was very very helpful and patient. We had family there and a wedding event in the tent/garden. The setting was just perfect for a wedding group under 90 persons. Its location is very convenient to shops, coffee, restaurants etc. I would definitely stay here again."

"Stayed on a Sunday evening, booked a suite with breakfast. The room was more a large room than a traditional suite. The hotel and room was clean but felt like tired. Attempted to go to the bar which is in the basement, it was unattended so ended up leaving and going to a bar down the road. Overall stay was okay, no issues but would not come back."
