Excellent option for Stansted Airport

Hostel was spotless and the bed so comfy. Excellent breakfast options available.I was looking somewhere with good location and price after flying into Stansted airport - which is only 40 minutes away by train. Will definitely stay again.

The location was very good. It was close to the train station and in an area with plenty of food options. It was also only a short walk to the historic college area. There is a locker provided in the rooms but you must provide your own lock.

Summer stay

Cannot fault the cleanliness, the staff, the room (although smaller than expected for 4 people). The only complaint we had was the heat in the room that built up during the day and the room did not cool down enough at night, making the nights too warm and even sweaty.

Good for the price. Every rooms are small, including toilets and shared kitchen. Rooms are too hot but clean and beds confortable. Hostel is well located near the station.

The staff were very friendly. And room were quiet. The only thing that is not satisfactory is the bed is very small, and no curtains around the bed without privacy, no USB outlet for charging, needs UK adapter, and for tall people the lower bed can not sit up without hitting the top bunker. Bathroom and toilet room very clean yet extremely small.

Great common areas, including a highly functional kitchen (although you'll need pocket knives) and a quiet living room and courtyard. Good secure bike storage. Laundry is cheaper than actual laundromats. The cleaning staff are incredibly hard working and their efforts are impressive to see. Cambridge is small, so it's a short walk or bike to most places.

Great value for money

Really high value for money if one expects a place with a cozy atmosphere, clean and modern facilities, kind staff and in a great, quiet location just a short walk from the train station and the center. If anything, the heater in the lounge wasn't working and so it was a bit too cold to sit in that room, while one of the shared showers had an issue with the drain so water was everywhere. Still, would pick this place without hesitance next time I visit Cambridge!

The place can get noisy at night when you're trying to sleep - due to noisy doors mostly. The toilets are tiny and small too. The room we stayed in was too hot and you can't cool it down with the window open too well. The beds and pillows were rock hard - super uncomfortable.

Arizona loves the property

The place is wonderful for a stay. But the room was really warm. The food establishment was good and quite convenient. The hostel was a Good location as well.

Good location. Just 7 minutes from the train station. Always wish the hostel has curtains. This one doesn’t. Staff was amazing. Washrooms and showers could have been kept up more. Kitchen is midsize but has too many benches so its hard to get around. Continental breakfast was very good and there is a full British breakfast available for a higher price. Over will recommend and seek out another one in another location.

Back packers gem.

Top value for money, fab position, great staff, friendly most basic accommodation, nice to have kitchen and laundry. but don’t forget your ear plugs, face mask, and if you need a soft bed pack a topper. But a bit of a gem really.
