"Great staff, very helpful. We were in room 1 which is a clean modern room. You do hear a little traffic noise but not enough that it's an issue. Just watch you don't rest a bare knee on the heated towel rail when you're sat on the toilet!"

"Nice room (though the bathroom lacked a shelf for you to put your stuff) and well appointed. The parking was irksome (and even though hardly anyone was using it day and night the staff gave me a tedious "if we break a rule for you we'd have to do it for everyone" admonishment.) Frankly it was fine but not really £250-worth of value."

"Had a great stay. Couldn’t fault any aspect of our stay. Staff were lovely, very attentive, couldn’t have done anything more! Very good meal in the restaurant, again great service! Tasty breakfast - great again! Stayed in a suite - comfortable bed, slept well. Room a good size. Was very clean. Overall a fantastic experience - can’t wait to return! Room 11, 20 - 21 February."

"Comfortable room, bed, pillows, heating. Excellent breakfast for such a comparatively small number of rooms. Not made sufficiently clear that there is no en suite on the single room, but in fact the single use bathroom opposite is probably larger than you would get as an ensuite. The lack of reception staff is disconcerting, but the key codes work."

"Would love to be able to give a higher rating because there is lots of amenities in room the staff were friendly room serviced daily free WiFi lovely big garden birds and trees and in a great position to explore Ely. It was quiet and dark. Unfortunately the place stinks of stale cigarettes which as a non smoker with heart and lung conditions is very off-putting and means I wouldn't stay here again. The room was very dusty with questionable stains on the carpet and linen and yellowing paintwork....

"Beautiful Cottage lovely room comfy bed room was clean and warm. Good choice of breakfast which is brought to your room on a tray which everything is neatly displayed. "

"I booked 2 rooms, one was much bigger and was better than the other but both adequate for 1 night. The bathroom in the smaller room was unfinished but totally usable. The shared facilities were good, lovely lounge. Beds were not that comfortable to be honest. Garden and outside areas looked lovely, a bit too cold to use unfortunately. Good quiet location and parking on site. Fridge, microwave and kettle in room was nice. We ate at a nearby restaurant called Lot 25, very enjoyable - good...
