"The floor was filthy , had to mop floor first night. Which was very frustrating. Overall , extremely disappointed . All amenities were in the casino ( gym, pool Restaurant Etc. )Which was in the next parking lot over, I was explained the hotel and motor lodge had amenities , but was never made aware they were all in the Casino Building. Therefore, we were unable to use them. Also, every time the bathroom sink was used there was an awful ( sewer) smell which permeated our entire room and...

"It was a great location , it was close to everything. Easy to get too. Clean and bed was very comfortable. Perfect for a few day get away!!"

"Room was clean and spacious. But opened to common court area which was also brightly lit at night - shining through living room closed curtains. Need blackout curtains to curtail the light. Resort Fees ($50/day) were added on after arrival. $25 food and beverage credit was never taken off bill as stated. While staff was friendly - very much so- we asked 6-7 different staff about shuttle service and received 6-7 different answers. Generally stay was ok but not likely to return due to resort fees...

"When booking at Basecamp South, the stress is on camp. The facility enjoys a great location within easy walking distance of downtown, restaurants, etc. Rooms are basic. Few outlooks, which are mostly filled by room amenities. If you want to watch TV, make sure you bring your own streaming services. Parking is both limited and risky. Within the facility there is no where to turn around. Parking on the street is a better option if you can find a space."

"There were some ants in the room. The bed was well passed needing to be replaced. There was some long strands of hair on the bedspread. The sink would not drain as the stopper was broken. Maintenance came by quickly and said the owner wants all stoppers removed. The fix was to remove the stopper. If a ring slips off your finger then you are out of luck. "Paula and Maria were so helpful and kind, hooked me up with Lake Link, a local shuttle service making sure I was getting daily rides.....rooms were super clean. grounds were well taken care of, beautiful flowers.....would stay there again......thank you....."

"The faucet did not work property in the bathroom. No pressure and no hot water. I had to brush my teeth at the kitchen sink, the jacuzzi in the room did not work. The sent someone and he could not fix it. The front desk made a huge deal in giving me a wattle bottle and they did not want to give me points to compensate how awful the room was. They only refunded the resort fee. I did not have a good experience."

"I had a wonderful stay at South Lake Chalet. The room looked exactly like the photos online, which was a pleasant surprise. The location is excellent—close to casinos, shopping, and a variety of restaurants.
