Great hotel with spacious rooms, walking distance to facilities for stateline activities, Heavenly Valley skiing, biking and food and drink. Close to the lake. VERY pleased with the PostMarc and will definitely stay there again!

Room was nice but step up to bed and bathing area as well as funky shower and tub I could’ve done without. At 2am the neighbor decided to run their jacuzzi tub. It was insanely loud and sounded like an industrial water feature in our room. Not good

The property felt "old", but everything was very clean. We called to ask for more towels and they brought them in like 2 minutes. Only problem was the landline in the room did not have a clear connection to the lobby, so we had to call using our cell phone.

This was our first time in South Lake Tahoe and Postmarc Hotel was a spur of the moment decision. I will say that the property was very clean and maintained. The room we had was very clean and very specious with comfortable bedding. Otherwise the room was in serious need of updating. The carpet was stained and fraying. The huge spa tub, open shower with mirrors all around with numerous shower curtains that did not enclose the whole spa/shower area, along with the wall mirrors encircling he bed made me feel like I was in a pay by the hour motel from the 90s. I guess that’s ok if you’re into that sort of thing. I give it an average rating only because of cleanliness and friendly staff.

The pictures given of the rooms aren’t accurate. Everything was falling apart. Lights in the room weren’t working or were falling out of the socket. The shades were barely hanging on, the tub was constantly leaking along with a light hanging out of socket above the tub, holes were in the comforter, the carpets were burned under the sink and the smoke alarm was covered and filled with some plastic wrap.
