It is a 15 minute scenic walk from the Kouvusaari Metro (once on the Metro, it is only a 10 minute ride to the main Helsinki Railway station). "I unexpectedly had a 1 day layover in Helsinki and had to make arrangements last minute. If you are a woman alone traveling and need a fast and safe place to stay this is absolutely a great choice. The shuttle was on time, the hotel was clean and accommodating. My room was small as expected but clean and comfortable, perfect for one person. The restaurant was good as well and the server was a delightful man with a sense of humor. If I’m ever in this situation again I won’t hesitate to come back....

"The room was small, but friendly and functional. The reception personnel let's you email your boarding pass to the hotel, and they print it out - very convenient. The breakfast is richer than I have seen at any hotel in a long time - It is a meal, complete with vegetables! I successfully went clothes shopping in nearby (walking distance) shopping mall. Finally, staff calls you a Taxi with a single button presd, and the taxi shows up in 3 minutes - every time. Impressive."

"This is great for the convenience of the airport - I wish I had known about the free shuttle bus to and from the airport when I arrived. (Taxi is expensive) The hotel has excellent facilities and a strong commitment to eco strategies. I enjoyed my first sauna and breakfast is excellent. The restaurant is a bit pricey.. but I will stay again - and also in other locations when I visit Finland"
