"The highlight of this hotel was definitely the bed. Super comfy. The staff were also very professional and helpful. Breakfast was limited but tasty and the coffee was great. I was able to take a few muffins and a yoghurt pot away with me to have for morning tea. I didn’t spend much time exploring the area directly around the hotel but Kings Cross train station is very close and easy to access. It can be a bit noisy at night and I personally didn’t feel safe as a solo woman walking the area...

"Potts Point is a great area to base yourselves in in Sydney and Spicers is a great "hotel" - actually, that's too impersonal, it feels more like a home away from home. The reception staff are interested and attentive, our room (No.8) was well provisioned and superclean, we were in walking distance of interesting local shops and restaurants, and a short Uber to the CBD. Thoroughly recommend."

"Clean and modern in a great location. My room had everything I needed and a leafy view above the street. I was super comfortable and would gladly stay there again."

"Check in process is beyond inconvenient. Never had a worse experience. If you want people to check in online then let them know ahead of time. I'm juggling luggage on the street trying to check in with your phone staff. Filling online forms, scanning ID etc just to open the hotel entrance door. That is the first and last time for me."
