"The hotel stay was comfortable but at about the same price point there are other better hotels in the Chatswood vicinity. The hotel lift system is a bit confusing though.
There are no lift buttons inside the lift and one has to click the floor their going to even before getting on the lift. This was a bit confusing to older people in my travel group.
And besides they dont make up your room if you stay e.g 3 days and 2 nights."

"The Hotel is Beautifully restored. I especially loved the old lift !!
The staff where amazing and the food was yum yum yum !!!
The room was perfect at a great price.
Just some small things - the Big TV (which was great - most places have ridiculously small tvs) was up next to the roof and in a small single room its just pointing to the other side of the roof instead of tilting down.
And there where 2 small brown cockroachs that I killed.
Otherwise an amazing stay that I will tell others about...

"The phone doesn't work in the hotel room to call reception. I stayed there last weekend and one year ago and the same issue. The dining room needs so much attention. We dined there for dinner one night and went down for breakfast the next day and there was still food, curry sauce, chips etc on the table and floor from the tables the night prior.
