"We had a lovely stay at Swahita! Firstly the staff are fantastic, so polite and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean with a spacious bathroom and large balcony. If I had to suggest an improvement then I would suggest better WiFi (it was slow and sometimes disconnects) and although there was nearby construction, it wasn’t too loud or early and there’s nothing they can do about that. We would happily stay here again!"

The room is very beautifully decorated and the breakfast and meals at the Pura Saraswati Restaurant is very delicious. Their hotel and restaurant staff are super helpful, friendly and courteous. I strongly recommend Puri Saraswati Dijiwa Hotel to anyone who is looking to stay in central Ubud area. "

"Love the royal kamuela, this is my second stay and it’s clean, incredible friendly and attentive staff. Breakfast is amazing, I can’t fault it. Our air con wasn’t working properly this time but they fixed it immediately and was perfect afterwards. Will definitely recommend and visit again"

"A truly excellent boutique style hotel in the centre of Ubud whilst being calm and peaceful. Rooms are excellent, great shower also. Pool area great and for a small hotel the Gym was v well equipped. The restaurant was also excellent, a lot of variety. Yuda on reception was great, recommended some excellent tours and a perfect local Balinese restaurant. Go here if you can!"

"The Gayatri is a charmingly beautiful property located in central Ubud. The moment you step through the gates it is feels like you have entered a private retreat. We stayed in a pool side room which was like a separate villa with traditional Balinese architecture and wood carved doors. Amenities included a chaise lounge and large dining table on the lanai, two poster beds with mosquito netting and large sized bathroom with plenty of toiletries. "We splurged on a villa with a private pool and it was very special. The villa was lovely and clean and the garden is gorgeous. The staff are so kind and helpful. They arranged a very early airport transfer and gave good tips on local walks. There is also a free shuttle into the busy city centre, but it’s so peaceful here, you’ll be glad to return.
