"Our stay at Ellena Hilltop Resort Ubud was absolutely amazing, we could not fault it. Our villa was exactly as you see in the images, the staff are amazing especially Yulia, Musgi and Emma. The food was great, the views spectacular and an amazing way to experience traditional Bali. The boutique resort with only 5 villas made it feels like we were the only ones there, we would highly recommend Ellena Hilltop Resort for anyone considering a visit to Ubud."

They treat you like royalty and go above and beyond to ensure your stay is to your liking. The ONLY con is that it is tucked away a bit far in Ubud, but I actually liked that! "Nice hotel and really friendly staff. However, Expedia listing said the villa would have a pool and a 'private hot tub'. I found the pool...hard to miss! When I asked where the hot tub was, I was told that the 'private hot tub' was actually just the bath in the bathroom which came with both cold and hot tap and was just for our use! I told them that a bath in the bathroom was not the same as a private hot tub but apparently Expedia had the wrong description as there are no hot tubs at any of the villas. I was also a little disappointed that the villa pool was not the infinity type as pictured on Expedia. The villa was described as 'valley view'. This is absolutely correct ie do not expect to see the river as you cannot, just the valley. "

"My husband and I celebrated our honeymoon at KClub in Bali. It was our first visit and we do not speak the local language, so we were a bit nervous, especially with a 10-night stay. From arrival, our butler Reno was cheerful, polite, and incredibly helpful. He toured us around the property, showed us how everything in the villa worked, and highlighted activities like yoga, rice paddy walks, and itinerary planning. He also surprised us with honeymoon treats and checked in regularly. Communication was easy through a WhatsApp group with the front desk, where we requested extra towels, wake-up calls, and general advice, always receiving quick replies, which we loved as phone-averse millennials. KClub has two restaurants, Akar and Kraton, and we especially loved Kraton for its quieter setting and delicious food. Our server, Gusde, remembered our names and preferences, introduced us to Balinese dishes, and even customized a special BBQ set menu for us. Overall, the staff were kind, patient, and efficient. Many addressed us by our first names and seemed aware of our plans. The manager, Jiwah, personally congratulated us on our honeymoon and ensured everything met our expectations. Beautiful views, excellent facilities, and heartfelt service made us feel like VIPs. Our honeymoon was perfect, and we hope to return to KClub someday."
