"Hi, you had to change our hotel to the Queens Hotel as the Royal beach couldn't book us due to unforeseen circumstances whatever that means, however the Queens Hotel and staff were excellent, got a welcome pack for the dog, and they get 11/10, so cant comment or review the Royal beach"

"If you've ever served in the forces you'll think you've walked back into one of the messes. Its full of as you'd expect Naval touches and great because of it. It has loads of quirks to it from a peaceful reading room library to a small pool what's not to like. Hey its a bit dated but personally that was part of the charm. As for location, couldn't be much better for the historic dockyard/gunwharf quays/train station/ferry. I will be staying there again."

hotel, we had a wonderful stay! The rooms are very clean, shower is nice and spacious. The bed was very comfortable and the decor in the room was very tasteful. "Exceeded my expectations, very good central location for Southsea and easy walk into Portsmouth. Off road Parking is worth the extra as nearby streets are narrow for on road parking. The Staff are all great, the spacious room with comfortable bed and excellent breakfast - what more one ask for. We will return in spring to meet up with friends again. "
