"Great hotel to stay at! We had an event at the DAC which was walking distance. All the staff at the hotel were wonderful! A cool, art deco vibe in the place. Rooms are tight. Hallways are dark. Both are part of the boutique vibe. The café in the lobby is great choice to pick up a coffee and light breakfast. We took our coffee outside to the relaxing garden with rod iron tables and chairs and enjoy the city in the morning. The Candy Bar is small, but very cool place to go for a drink!"

"The staff were friendly, but the property is very old and has a musty smell and it is very loud at night. You can hear cars going back-and-forth. It is on a busy road. Also, there are big spotlights pointing right at the property so there’s a lot of light coming through the windows even with the curtains"

"I was attending the NCECA ceramics conference at the convention center. Trumbull and Porter was reasonably convenient to the meeting by rideshare or by car. My room was quiet, comfortable and clean. I saw a number of other conference participants there, perhaps because it was cheaper than the official hotels. I thought there was a restaurant in the hotel but that information was out of date.
