"nice old motel, clean, quiet, has all well maintained basics, but only the basics. A comfortable bed, a dresser with drawers, night stands and lamps. Small bath with tub. Fast wifi. Ample parking. Nice view. Near JFK. That's all. No desk and chair for work. No coffee maker forhot drinking water. No closet to hang my coat andshirts..No shuttle. Taxi or Uber to or from JFKcost $25-30. A grocery store nearby. A very good Asian restaurant next door. Italian restaurants walking distance."

"I could write a novel on the state of dismay that this “hotel” is in. The shear filth combined with incompetent hotel staff create a truly inhospitable environment. Let’s jump to the chase: This is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. •Unbelievably filthy. Dirt, dust, grime, stains, dead bugs…you name it, it’s there. •Musty and stuffy smell of cigarettes and burnt ash in the room. •Miserably small room. Genuinely a squeeze to get between the bed and 1980s dresser drawers. •Old little AC unit...

"This property was cleaner and nicer than most premium hotels twice or three-times the price! The service at the front desk was very polite and guided me to my room when I checked in. Once I got into my room, I was floored at how nice, clean, and modern the room felt! The interior did not match the classic exterior, so don't judge the book by it's cover! I would recommend for anyone staying in the area on Long Island."

"No hand soap in room. No pool usage. It appeared that squatters were about the property. No in room coffee. Long standing coffee available in the office. Some lights did not work. Expedia should not list this."
