"The Creekside Inn is basic, but in Alpine County, if that's where you want to be (and it offers incredible outdoor opportunities and natural beauty year-round!), basic is pretty good. It's quiet, and not at all as pricey as most of the alternatives (of which there are very few). Fabulous restaurant, Stonefly, across the street, is open for dinner Th-Sun. "Stayed at Sierra cabin towards the back of the property (of note, Yurts are at a different location just down the road). Very clean, friendly staff, very relaxing grounds. Patrons were all respectful during our stay and everyone seemed to value the collective feeling of serenity/peace. Excellent supplies in terms of all needed utensils in clinic, only negative was regarding spice rack, some were expired but really not enough of a negative to take away from the experience. "Pros: Great location. Clean bed and bathroom. Cons: Bear on property going through the trash every day multiple times. Hotel staff did not mention that even at the time of check in. Bear spreads trash near the entrances to the buildings. Room keys never worked at the first try. One of my friends even got locked out at night and nobody was at the desk or on the call to help. It took them an hour to get back. Limited first come first parking. Tiny breakfast room gets crowded pretty soon."

"Everything about the property is excellent. In addition to the conventional ròoms available for booking, a KOA campground is part of the overall operation. Be aware that your arrival time must be conveyed to ensure someone is available to receive you upon arrival. Also, be aware that some cell phone carriers do not cover the immediate spot. T-Mobile could not be used. Fortunately, we had another phone with a different carrier and were OK. WI-FI IS VERY GOOD. STAFF COULD BE MORE CONGENIAL."

"Great location, excellent room on the 5th floor! Everything seemed fresh & new after the recent remodel. Fun in the casino downstairs, great drinks. Restaurant was a bit lacking for breakfast, they were “slammed”, probably due to a lack of other options in the area. Food came out cold, a bit slow but friendly service. She was trying! Free, secure parking out front - I wasn’t worried about my bike in the back of the truck. Will definitely return at some point!👍"
