Forest Suites was an older property. It was family friendly as the pool area (with a hot tub) was nice. The breakfast was better than your normal continental hotel breakfast. The pool area was a little loud in the evenings for those wanting to get to bed early. The location is great and I appreciate the texts that gave us important messaging.

This is my third time being there. I like to have a kitchen. Walkable distance to downtown, hiking close. Friendly and accommodating staff. I traveled with a dog. The dog's fee in this hotel is per night, not per stay. It is a nice small dog area. Plus, now parking lot fee, daily. The kitchen has everything that you need. I definitely will be back.

The photos were nothing like the actual property. The property lacked general maixtenance, upkeep and interior furniture was extremely dated. Also the breakfast bar was thrown together with no effort or quality. Nothing suite about The Forrest Suite Resort. Extremely Disappointing!!!

The location was great. We were attending a three day event at one of the casinos, this place was great for walking. We even did a family walk to Red Hut Cafe about a mile away. Room was super clean, very spacious like an apartment. Four teenagers and two adults. We utilized the free snacks for the evenings. We didn’t really care for the free breakfast in the lobby but that’s just our taste. The grounds were clean and we felt safe walking around in the evening. We will most likely choose this place again for the same event we attend.

"Resort" it is not. The property photos are many, many years old and not anything based in reality. I thought I could relax outside with a book and enjoy the Tahoe weather, there was nothing but dirt and wèeds and very uncomfortable furniture. I left early.
