"I’m giving this place 5 stars mainly for the beautiful location and calm atmosphere. The room I got was a bit older and could use a few updates, but everything felt generally clean, no unpleasant smells, just a little dust here and there. What really makes Sands on Golden Lake special is the view, absolutely magnificent in the early morning, and at night the sky is filled with stars and even a glimpse of the Milky Way since it’s tucked away in the quiet countryside. "Very helpful staff. When leaving One of cleaners took my luggage to the car as I had trouble with the stairs. The friendly receptionist took my luggage in on arrival. Very comfy and well equipped. As a camper it felt luxurious. Especially the jacuzzi. A good price too. "
