"We chose an apartment specifically for the fireplace, only to discover our fireplace was broken. Extremely disappointing. The Smart TVs also don’t function as smart TVs, only cable with minimal channel selection. Unfortunately we didn’t enjoy this stay as much as others in the past. Having said that, the staff were friendly and the property was clean. We had lovely mountain views and the kitchen had all the basics for cooking. "

"They are certainly making quite a few improvements to their rooms. Huge TV, the shower is really nice. We did end up staying there before they had installed anywhere to hang our wet coats, but oh well, we made do. Our biggest disappointment was that we didn't get to use the pool because they were waiting on an inspection. But that's beyond their control. Look forward to May 2026. That's when they figure that all the upgrades will be done. This is the second time we have stayed at Painter's...

"This is truly a home away from home. We loved seeing the whole Lake Louise area in the winter. Paradise was the perfect place to stay. Friendly and helpful staff, fireplace in our room, a deck to enjoy the magnificent view and a campfire every afternoon complete with s’more kits! Every day we had fresh bottles of cream and milk to go with our coffee. This location is very close to Lake Louise and Groomed cross country trails. "A truly relaxing three nights. The staff are welcoming, the room, though small, has an extremely comfortable bed, and going to sleep to the sound of the ocean was really special. We especially loved the communal downstairs lounge area. Reading by the fire or watching the sea, and the on-tap tea, coffee and hot chocolate throughout the day were highlights, as was the complimentary breakfast each morning (those croissants!). It was an easy 5 minute drive into town to try dinner somewhere new each...
