"Be careful, it’s easy to accidentally book a room with SHARED bathroom facilities! This place is so charming but the rooms facing the main street are LOUD with young men yelling well until 11pm or so. Getting to the hotel can be tricky as well. Need to go past bollards into the pedestrian zone. No a/c no elevator and the parking lot is public and a few blocks away but reasonable. Breakfast is minimal, no eggs…"

"Lovely place to spend the weekend. Beautiful buildings steeped in history. We stayed in the flint cottage which is separate from the main building, which was Lord Kitcheners temporary home while the main house was being renovated. The room was very pleasant, the bed was super comfortable. The only annoyance was there were bottles of shower gel, shampoo and conditioner in the shower but they were all empty. We dined in the restaurant for evening and breakfast and afternoon tea and all the food was exceptional. The Cathedral is approximately 15 minute drive and well worth a visit with a good selection of nice shops also. All in all a lovely weekend for us and I would have no hesitation in repeating the visit or recommending Broome Hall Park."
